Richie

This is our dog Bear. He is 9 years old. He has always been an outside dog with an invisible fence at a house with a huge yard and no neighbors. He does not get along with other animals. He is a very loving dog. We are trying to find him a new home because he does not get along with our dog. We took over caring for Bear 2 years ago when the owners no longer could. He would do best in a home in the country with little to no neighbors. He will need to be the only pet. He has always been great with kids but he is very energetic.

Meet Hootie—a resilient little pup with quite a journey. She was rescued at just a few weeks old and rehomed not once, but twice, before being heartbreakingly dumped. Thankfully, Jacksonville Humane picked her up and reached out to me. When I got there, it was clear she wasn’t in the best shape, but I knew she deserved a second chance. I brought her home, and now Hootie is safe, loved, and finally on the road to becoming the happy, healthy puppy she was always meant to be. With time, care, and lots of love, Hootie is making progress every day—and once she reaches a comfortable and stable state, she’ll be ready to find her forever home.

Max is very calm and loves when he gets attention and loves for you to play fetch with him . He is an outside dog and loves to run around . He loves treats and is a very loving dog .

I adopted my dog from the local pound 1 year and an half ago, and he has been such a loyal and loving companion ever since. He’s currently 4 years old and has a calm, cuddly nature with a strong protective instinct. He truly thrives in a peaceful environment and loves to curl up next to you just as much as he enjoys keeping watch over the house. I’m looking for a new home for him where he’ll be deeply loved—ideally with a caring couple, or a single man or woman who values companionship and connection.
