While he is friendly, he is not overly excitable around new people and can be a bit protective of his owners-but never aggressive. He adjusts well when properly introduced to new individuals. Trooper is remarkably quiet and rarely barks. He typically only vocalizes if he senses a need to protect those he cares about. He is great with babies, children, and adults alike. Due to his natural prey drive, Trooper does not do well with very small dogs or small animals. However, he interacts well with medium to large-sized dogs. He is also crate trained, which helps with structure and routine.

We already have two pets and financially can't afford another or we would take him in. He needs someone to love him and show him how good life can be. He is free to a good home.
