Fern is calm for a Beagle. Well behaved and a good family pet. I hope to breed her to a dachshund or small terrier to have some nice mixed small breed pups. I'm open to almost any small breed, provided the temperament is right. She is AKC registered.

Very Family oriented. Loves to play and enjoys long walks. She's definitely a great tracker. And has a healthy appetite.

Little update to any who contacted in Feb thru April. A human medical event interrupted my plans and my politeness. It is resolved and I will not let Belinda down again and will keep up with responses. Sorry. Now back to the description of Belinda... She is able to entertain herself or relax and nap if you are busy, but is up for adventure whenever it's offered. She is independent, not clingy but still loves cuddles in bed at night. She is adorable and many people say this wherever we go. She is good with peopleif they let her sniff them first. She is smart and discerns who is allowed (mailman, neighbors) and not allowed (strangers in hoodies running or skulking by)and barks at who isnt. Off leash she is shy at first with other dogs but will get into chase games. not a fetcher. loves exploring undergrowth, sniffing every single thing in the world and treats. quite a fierce treat guarder if given anything larger than 2 inches, so we dont. She would make a great little mom as she is gentle to us and is playful with our cat but never hurts him so could do that for puppies too.
