Serafina - Portuguese Water Dog For Adoption in Santa Fe County, New Mexico

I adopted 4 yo Reggie from a kill shelter…his previous owner failed him miserably…he is so loving and so kind but needs someone who is experienced with mals and can take the time to train him and get him to gain the trust that he needs…I am only asking for what I paid for him. He is neutered and has all up to date vaccines…I have good toys a crate and a lot of training chews for him. My family who originally agreed to help out backed out and I work more than I’d like to admit and need someone to really love this boy. I don’t want to see him failed again. Will negotiate price for Reggie.

He's been raised around other dogs as well as cats and he's quite playful with them. His breed is unknown though I believe he's got some sort of Catahoula mix in him. Kenji is a great dog with a lot of energy. He knows some commands: sit, wait (while setting up food and water), down, go to bed, all the way (for designated area in yard to use potty). He is potty trained and sleeps indoors, but he stays in a shaded dog run while we are working because he finds food and water laying around the house when we aren't around. It is a really hard decision we are having to face. We have 11 month old twins and just can't give him the time or attention he needs. We want him to go to a loving family that will be able to give him the life he deserves.
