About Rufus
Hi everyone I’m making this difficult post in the hopes of finding my boy a perfect home. This is Rufus the Great Dane. He is estimated to be around 4-5 years old and 140lbs. He is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and gastropexied. He has no known health issues, just takes a hip/joint supplement. He is a love bug and absolutely adores people. He lives for attention, cuddling and socializing. He has chilled out a bit in his older age but still has lots of energy to go on walks and play, overall I’d say he’s a moderate-low energy dog. He loves car rides and does well traveling. He has lived with cats and dogs. Overtime he has become dog selective and requires slow introductions with new dogs. While he has gotten along with 90% of dogs he’s met there has been a few that he has been nippy/ protective towards and he does not do well meeting other dogs on leash. He is very clumsy with his feet and has accidentally injured small pups so he is best suited for a home possibly with a large dog or as an only pet. Unfortunately, I am working 60hr weeks and will be entering professional school so I’m away from home a lot. Rufus thrives with human interaction and I can tell his anxiety has increased drastically since being alone a lot of the day. I know much of this would be solved if he had a family that could give him more attention. His perfect home would be with a family or couple that can be home for much of the day and possibly another dog that he can horse around with. I will only rehome him to a family that can give a home he will thrive in. Adopters will be vetted properly.

Little Man
Great Dane
Little Man is your typical fun and silly velcro Dane. He is just over a year old and has grown up around cats and dogs. He is extremely playful and loves to carry around stuffed toys. He will sit for a treat and he expects to have spot next to you on the couch or bed. He is potty trained and uses a dog door. I adore this dog! Unfortunately, my job has changed and I am not only working extremely long hours for the foreseeable future but I am moving into an apartment that does not allow dogs over 50 lbs. Little Man deserves so much affection and play time. He is a great dog! Only apply if you want lots of unconditional love and doggy snuggles!

Piper
Great Dane
Piper is a sweet, playful, and fun-loving dog looking for a new forever home. She has a big personality and loves to play, explore, and spend time with people. She brings lots of joy and laughter wherever she goes. Making the decision to rehome Piper has been very difficult for our family. She’s simply grown too large for our current situation, and we want to find a home where she has the space, love, and attention she deserves. Piper would do best with a family or individual who has room for a larger dog and can give her plenty of exercise, affection, and companionship. She has so much love to give and will make a loyal, wonderful companion for the right home. If you think Piper might be the perfect fit for your family, please reach out. Our only goal is to find her a safe, loving forever home where she’ll be cherished.

Duke
Great Dane × American PitBull Terrier
He is such a sweet dog. He loves playing with all breeds, we have brought him to the dog park to socialize. We cannot keep him due to the size of our yard and he tries to get to our chickens. He found us in June of '24, we returned him and he found us again in November. The owners didn't want him so we tried to accommodate him. We have realized we aren't the best home for him, so we want to find him a more suitable home.
