He is highly food-motivated, which makes training both effective and fun, and he picks up new commands quickly. Because he gets very excited during training, he does best with a patient, structured approach that helps him stay focused and brings out his full potential. Rhett does not resource guard and is not aggressive toward the people he knows and trusts. Due to past experiences, he can be cautious around new people and needs time to warm up, but with calm introductions and consistency, he is able to build strong, loyal bonds. He is in excellent health, fully vaccinated, and has no known health issues commonly associated with German Shepherds. Rhett would thrive in a home that values training, understands his need for structure, and is willing to give him the time and patience he needs to feel safe. In return, he offers intelligence, loyalty, and a deep desire to connect with his person.
