Renegade is a beautiful colored purebred AKC registered Golden Retriever. He is very athletic and is play driven. His favorite activities are playtime, walks and runs, sporting/hunting. He first and foremost is our family dog and loves cuddling with family. He is the dog that does anything to make his family happy and is the best dog we have had for wanting to please his owners. All who meet him fall in love with him. He is beautiful Dark Gold with light gold feathering. His hair has many red undertone and highlights. He really is a remarkable beauty, we are stopped all the time on our walks and outdoor activities and asked about him. With comments like he is so beautiful” look at his coat color” he is gentle and great for a family dog especially with young kids. He has a natural propensity for anything athletic and has amazing muscle tone. He has the natural instinct and willingness to listen that makes a good hunting, sport, or assistance dog. With the amazing characteristics, traits, and looks of Renegade we felt the need to continue the bloodline and use him as a Stud for future litters and to keep good genetics back into the breeds population. Most importantly to produce family dogs with amazing temperaments. He has OFA Hip Certification. He is also cleared by parentage for genetic testing for things such as but not limited to the Ichthyosis gene and more. Both his parents past all genetic and OFA testing and certifications. His father Ragnar our previous stud and more important DAD dog of our home Had certifications for all OFA and Genetic testing. He was cleared and was one of 10 or less of dogs of this breed to not carry the recessive gene for any current inherited diseases no prevalent in Goldens. Most dogs don’t have the disease or condition but carry the recessive gene marker . His dad had 0 recessive genes of concern and passed these amazing rare genetics to our Renegade and the rest of his offspring. His mother Freya also cleared all these certifications therefore Renegade is cleared by parentage on many genetic areas of interest/concern.
