Satsuki
Labrador Retriever × Pit Bull Terrier
My dog is an incredibly calm and relaxed companion. She rarely barks unless she’s been left alone for a while, and even then, it’s more out of loneliness than anything else. Most of the time, you’ll find her napping peacefully or lounging somewhere close by. She’s laid-back and loves to just chill in her favorite spots where she can keep an eye on me—but she’s not clingy. She’ll lay next to you or nearby, but she respects space and isn’t one to jump all over you. When it comes to chewing, she’s very well-behaved. She sticks to her toys and won’t chew on anything else, although she is definitely curious. She’ll often sniff or lick other objects, but never damages them. She absolutely loves being outdoors. As soon as she gets outside, her energy flips on—she runs around with excitement and loves exploring. It’s such a fun contrast to her calm indoor personality. You can always tell how she’s feeling by looking at her ears—they’re super expressive and let you know exactly what mood she’s in. She’s very friendly and playful with children, getting along great with my younger siblings. She also does well with cats and is friendly with my neighbor’s cat. As for other dogs, she used to live with her sister and they got along—but they’d also argue like siblings do—so I’m not totally sure how she is with new dogs. In the car, she’s an excellent passenger. We go a lot of places together, and she’s always in the backseat. She rides calmly and even enjoys sticking her head out the window, but she knows not to lean out too far. She also knows basic commands like “sit.” She’s house-trained and has a clear potty routine. She usually stands by the door when she needs to go out, and if she's about to go inside, she’ll start sniffing in circles. She prefers to go potty shortly after eating (within about two minutes), before getting in the car, and again right after car rides. As for food—yeah, I spoil her a bit. I give her a little extra love in that area, but she’s not a picky eater at all. Overall, she’s a sweet, mellow dog with bursts of playful energy and a heart full of love. She’s smart, respectful, and just the perfect mix of calm and fun.

Stella
Labrador Retriever × German Shepherd
Stella is a sweet and fun mixed breed puppy. She has a black coat with undertones of tan brindle. My son adopted her from a litter of puppies while away at college. She has come home with him to live with us while we find her a loving home. My son cannot have a dog in his next residence and wants to study abroad. I am not able to care for a second dog right now. Stella is very smart and is being crate trained. She still has accidents but is almost there! She knows the command sit and is working on leash skills. She loves playing with our Labradoodle and she is super engaged with people. She loves to snuggle and be near you. I don’t have young children but she has encountered kids on walks and seems to love them. We are very attached to her and want to make sure she goes to a caring home.

Gia
Labrador Retriever × Dachshund
Gia was adopted with her sister from a rescue. She is so sweet, loyal, and anxious. She lives in a busy house with 2 young boys and their friends running around a lot. This is not a great environment for her and only increases her anxiety. We also learned later that litter mates living together can be challenging and can cause anxiety and behavior issues. Training them together was tough and they both still have accidents. She only goes by the door and, truly, this is probably our problem more than hers. When we adopted them, our boys were 6 years old and we just did not know what we were getting ourselves into. If she were an only dog, we know she would be so much happier and calmer. She would be better with older kids and might be fine with younger if she were the only dog. We are not charging a fee because we only want a loving home for her.

Neo
