Bonnie & Clyde

American PitBull Terrier

female
|4 years, 2 months
Monroe County, New York, US

Meet Bonnie and Clyde, two pitbull mixes! They are bonded so they absolutely cannot be separated. I never knew dogs could love each other so much! They don't even like being in different rooms. Bonnie is 3ish and around 55 lbs. She is smaller than the average pitty. She has such a sweet personality. She wants all of the attention. She is known for bumping him out of the way so that you will pet her instead. He just let's her do whatever she wants. She loves to cuddle. She has had puppies in her past before we adopted her. Clyde is 5ish years old and 65 lbs. He is short and stocky. He also loves to cuddle. Someone cropped his ears when he was young, but luckily he doesn't mind them being touched. His bottom jaw is shorter than the top, so his tongue hangs a lot. He's pretty laid back and will just go with the flow. We are rehoming our fur babies because we just aren't the right fit for each them. My house is very quiet, so they are bored. They need a much more active lifestyle with a big backyard to play in. They run zoomies around the house and they play with each other a lot, but they need more. They are petrified of our cats. We thought they would get better in time, but no such luck. They have separation anxiety, both from us and each other. They need a home where they won't be left home alone a lot. They might chew your items while you're gone because of anxiety. We don't crate them. We are unsure how they would react if you did. I call them my little ducklings because they follow me everywhere I go. If they can't be with us they cry. We are their WHOLE world and you will be as well. They need to be the only pets in your house. We have kept our cats separate with baby gates, but every time they see them, Bonnie shakes and Clyde cries. They have tried to chase them before, so it's just best for them to be the only pets. They bark at other dogs, but we are unaware of how they would react if they came into contact with another dog. They do act like they want to play, but like I said, we don't know for sure. We also don't know how they are with children since we don't have any. Overall, they are really great, loving dogs. We love them so much, but we just aren't the right fit for them. They will come with their toys and remaining food. Pros: Very lovey and cuddly. Lots of kisses and waggy tails. They know "sit" "stay" and "no". They are spayed, neutered, and chipped. Both are house broken. They love people. They're great in the car. Not food or toy aggressive. They don't beg at the dinner table. They're both in good health. Happy dogs! Cons: Separation anxiety. Can't live with other pets.

Marlee is an extremely sweet puppy. She is full of energy so she needs someone who is willing to give her attention. She loves to play with our boys but can sometimes jump and scratch. She wants to play with our chickens too much and is not gentle with them. She's gentle with our other dog.
