"Disclaimer: I have loads of pet supplies that come with him that will all be fully cleaned. I spent approximately $620 on everything, including Oliver, that you will receive! Only halfway thru his puppy phase. Needs training on basically everything other than potty. Cannot be left uncrated while you leave the home, strongly suggest using baby gates to protect rooms with rugs or items you don’t want destroyed. Not in a super aggressive teething phase but definitely still teething. Loves squeaky toys, teething toys and ball toys. Sometimes excessive whining and a bit of barking when brought outside due to underexposure and overexcitedness/overstimulation. There are quiet moments outside when he is busy sniffing and exploring. Enjoys sniffing everything. A prong collar is suggested to reduce extreme pulling. Very friendly with humans and other dogs, but likes to jump and play bite. Very gentle with the play biting (painless, never a real bite). Coexists with my 5 year old without fear of him hurting him. Loves to play with him and all people. Potty trained, whines or sometimes barks as a cue to be let outside, very good at vocalizing before ever peeing or pooping inside (only does if ignored or unheard but usually does a bark first). However, involuntary peeing when excited or scared, so belly bands are recommended to use inside. Very easy to pick up, cuddle, hold, any physical contact. Never nips if you grab him the wrong way or put him in a position he doesn’t love, unless he is experiencing pain. Not a fragile dog, loves to roughhouse. Very affectionate. Tons of energy, loves to play fetch and tug. Sleeps overnight in crate. Only barks in crate overnight in bathroom emergencies (diarrhea), never soils crate! Please cover crate with a folded sheet or blanket, as far down as possible on all sides because it makes him much more calm and content in it, and reduces overall barking. Very well behaved during bathtime, no whining/barking/jumping out or aggression. Never aggressive in any situation. Overall very energetic, social and happy puppy. Healthy weight, feed 1/3 cup kibble 2x per day and bits of human food here and there to keep him at healthy weight. Not picky with food at all! Will jump up to take food where he can reach when you are not looking. Takes it right out of children’s hands as well since they are not authoritarian. “Begging” is silent, just observation, no whining, very polite and grateful for any food or treats. Loves to follow you from room to room. Often whines if you leave a room that he can’t follow you into. Whines/barks when youre leaving home but does not have actual separation anxiety (which is an overused term), only a “Velcro” puppy. Enjoys car rides and exploration. Currently whines and even barks in stores. Never had beach exposure, exposure to animals other than dogs, or baby exposure. Will try to eat any bug or lizard so be cautious not to let him poison himself. Very minimal shedding for a dog. Soft coat and low “dog” smell. Out of the bad breath phase. Will avoid peeing on dirt or grass if it’s raining or wet (will opt for concrete if there is any, but not if he’s being watched and knows you wont allow it). Will try to escape/dig if there is any possible spot for that in your yard. Do not let him outside unleashed, he will run away. No known extreme fears. He will quickly become attached to you and love you. Very forgiving/optimistic. Has never shown any concerning mental or physical issues. Will probably grow just a little bit more. Exact breed unknown unless DNA tested (looks a lot like an Italian greyhound/basenji greyhound mix though). Bought at a humane society at 4.5 months, believed to have been born “wild”/ownerless. Puppy ownership is extremely demanding, often stressful, and a very big commitment and job. No one knows all that goes into it until they actually own a puppy."

Candy is a visual fluffy New Shade Isabella female with beautiful blue eyes and soft plush coat. Candy is DNA and genetic health tested just like her parents, She will be going to her new home vaccinated, dewormed, crate and potty trained. She is well socialized around other dogs, cats and kids. She gets separated from her mom and littermates for a specific amount of time to prevent separation anxiety when going to her new home. We take pride in the puppies we raise and go the extra mile to make sure our puppies  are healthy, confident and well socialized. Our goal is to give families a good experience and lifelong companion instead of another vet bill.
