Alrlo is a kind and affectionate dog who adores people and loves companionship. He's fully house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained. Due to changes in our schedule, we can no longer provide him with the attention he deserves. We're seeking a loving home where he can continue to thrive and share his joy.

He was a stray when I got him. We think he’s partially deaf. He likes to run and it’s hard to keep him in the house. I have 4 kids and can’t handle him anymore. I can’t get him to keep a leash or a harness or collar on and he won’t stay in the house. I’m sure someone with more time and energy could give him what he needs but I just don’t have that.

"French Bull Jack, a mix between a French Bulldog and a Jack Russell Terrier, typically inherits a mix of traits from both parent breeds. They are generally known to be playful, affectionate, and intelligent, but can also be stubborn and require consistent, positive reinforcement training. Early socialization is important to ensure they get along well with other animals and people. Temperament Traits: Affectionate and Playful: Both parent breeds are known for their affectionate and playful nature, which is likely to be passed on to the French Bull Jack. Stubbornness: French Bulldogs and Jack Russell Terriers can both be stubborn, so training a French Bull Jack requires patience and consistency. Intelligence: Both breeds are intelligent, but French Bulldogs can sometimes have a shorter attention span, so training sessions should be engaging and kept brief. Energy Levels: French Bulldogs tend to be less energetic than Jack Russell Terriers, but the French Bull Jack may inherit a moderate to high energy level. Socialization: Early socialization is crucial to help them get along well with other dogs and people. Potential for Separation Anxiety: Jack Russell Terriers can be prone to separation anxiety, so it's important to provide them with companionship and not leave them alone for extended periods. Ideal Owners: Active and Involved Families: French Bull Jacks thrive in active families who can provide them with plenty of playtime and attention. Patient and Consistent Trainers: Owners need to be patient and consistent with their training, using positive reinforcement methods. People who can provide companionship: French Bull Jacks do not like to be left alone for long periods, so they need owners who can provide them with plenty of love and attention. Training Considerations: Early Socialization: Expose your French Bull Jack to various people, places, and other animals from a young age to help them develop into well-adjusted adults. Positive Reinforcement: Use positive reinforcement techniques such as treats, praise, and play to motivate your dog during training. Consistency: Be consistent with your commands and rules to help your dog understand what is expected of them. Keep Training Sessions Short: French Bulldogs can have a shorter attention span, so keep training sessions brief and engaging. Consider Professional Training: If you are struggling with training, consider consulting a professional dog trainer."
