About Miel
Meet our 1-year-old purebred golden retriever — a playful, affectionate, and high-energy girl with a wonderful temperament. She’s great with children, loves other animals, and is especially social with small dogs (though she can be a little shy around larger ones at first). She’s incredibly sweet, intelligent, and comes from healthy bloodlines. We plan to spay her in the future, but before we do, we’re looking to responsibly pair her with a compatible stud to welcome a litter of healthy, happy pups.

CURRENTLY IN HEAT! (end of August 2026) Stella is intelligent, calm, exceptionally obedient, eager to please, and a wonderful all around family dog. Stella is AKC and we have her papers (need to upload photo). Her coat is a beautiful rich red golden color (her mother’s coat was so red her breeder told us she was often mistaken for an Irish Settler). We have never shown Stella nor bred her. Our goal in breeding Stella would be to keep a puppy for ourselves (and as a friend for Stella). Our plan is to have 12+ interested adopters lined up (family, friends, people from church, etc.) to increase the chance that every puppy will have a vetted happy home readily available. We got Stella when we had two kids under 4. Now Stella is 4 (as of May 2026) and our kids are 6 months, 2.5, 5, and 7. She is great with our young children and Yorkie mix rescue puppy. FUN FACT: STELLA CAN DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN HER TOYS AND THE KIDS’ TOYS AND CAN PUT HER TOYS AWAY (on command she will carry her toys to her own basket and drop them in).

She can be stubborn if she doesn’t want to do something. (Like come in the house after playing ball, or playing in the water.) Lol
