"Max is a loyal dog and we've had him since he was a puppy. He has some separation anxiety and he prefers to be close to his owners. He is very energetic and loves to play. He enjoys sitting next to his owner's and being petted and loved on. He is very territorial of other animals outside his own household, and is guarded towards unfamiliar people until his owners show acceptance towards them. He knows to use training pads if inside, when he needs to use the bathroom, but will most often signal that he needs to go outside for bowel/bladder elimination.
