Apollo
Belgian Malinois × Black German Shepherd
Apollo is extremely protective of his people and his home. He can welcome you if you're slowly introduced but if you step into his territory uninvited he will let you know you are not welcomed. He is extremely intelligent and learns very fast, he picks up on drills super fast. He has a lot of energy but is not an anxious dog, he can lay next to me for hours while I work until it's to to play or go for a walk. He loves feeling my useful, so we like giving him jobs like fidinding hidden items using his nose. He is very patient with our toddler, at first he was unsure when our son started walking, but now our son will climb on him or pull his legs, ears, tails, and he just lays there until he gets tired, he gets up and leaves. He's not good aggressive at all. He's trained on a shock collar but we rarely have to shock him, he has great recall. He is not great with farm animals, he has unalived three goats, but he sees them as toys. Chickens, cows and horses he's fine with, his weakness are goats. He is an amazing dog, I always feel protected when I go on walk with my son or go to the park, he has a protective instinct. We want to breed him to keep a piece of him when he passes, we really don't care about money, we just want something close to him.
