His lineage is deeply rooted in history, carrying rare and extraordinary genetic markers. On his maternal side, Wolfie belongs to the C1 haplogroup, specifically the C27/37 haplotype. This maternal lineage is exceptionally rare, with connections to ancestral wolves, foxes, and jackals rather than common domestic dog lineages. While not widely found in most breeds, C1 appears in German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, and even ancient breeds such as the Peruvian Inca Orchid and Pekingese. The origins of this lineage trace back thousands of years, with a likely survival through low-frequency distribution across Europe before its global dispersal. Wolfie’s paternal lineage is equally intriguing. His haplotype, Hc.1, is the sole representative of the A haplogroup, a rare and distinctive paternal line. Most commonly observed in Siberian Huskies and Alaskan village dogs, this lineage is believed to have diverged around 10,000 years ago, linked to the first Arctic explorers. Hanzo is an energetic, playful and extremely loving Pomsky. Great with kids, and a super cuddly companion. Surrounding very quiet for his breeds, and we never hear him bark. Apparently his sisters are exactly the same way, as their owners are in our family as well. Literally the perfect Family Dog! He’s on the larger side for a Pomsky, because the lineage was recently bred with pure bred Husky’s, but much smaller than a typical pure bred male Husky. His ancestry involved grandparents who were award winning show dogs, and it shows in his form and health. Nice solid but not overly muscular build, with one blue, one brown eye. As with all Husky’s they take a little extra love, attention and training, but he’s very smart and caught in to commands very quickly.

He is very easy going and sweet.
