While she can be a bit disobedient at times, she has great potential to grow into a well-trained dog with the right guidance and consistency. She's naturally curious—especially when it comes to new sounds and other animals—which can sometimes make her a bit overactive. That said, she’s incredibly affectionate and gentle with kids of all ages, making her a great family companion. With her alert nature and loyalty, Vila also has the makings of an excellent guard dog. I know my dogs love people. Not all people, but 99%. That 1% they let know they are not welcome near me or them. Its not always the seedy looking characters that they alert on, but well dressed, clean people. I also know that they would never leave me. I will return the favor, holding them until their last breath. I know they are highly intelligent, but not in the way people think. They are MORE. They can reason, and think ahead in ways we don’t yet understand. They say bully breeds are stubborn- I say they are thinking things over, to see how it will affect their lives before doing the action.
