We adopted Holly from an animal shelter when she was about 1.5 years old. They didn’t have much about her history but her energy matched our other dog at the time. Holly is a very loyal and protective dog and great with all humans, including kids. However, she would do best in a home without other pets as she has shown aggressive tendencies towards other smaller animals. She is e-collar trained and can be redirected in these cases such as on walks.

Bones & Toys – Apollo is a big fan of chewing on his toys and bones. He’s great at entertaining himself and will only occasionally steal a sock if he’s bored (no biggie!). Cuddles & Naps – When it’s time to wind down, Apollo loves nothing more than curling up for a cozy nap and cuddling up with his humans. Training & Behavior: Apollo is crate-trained and incredibly well potty-trained. He’s a good boy when it comes to keeping your home clean! He’s completed basic obedience classes and worked with a professional trainer to help him grow into the well-behaved dog he is today. Anxiety medication is part of his routine, which helps him feel more at ease and confident in his surroundings. He’s thriving with this support! Ideal Home: Apollo has a lot of energy, so he would do best with a family with older teens or adults who can keep up with his playfulness. He might be too energetic for younger kids, but with proper supervision, he’d be a great companion. Apollo will need a slow, careful introduction to any new larger canine companions. He would not fit for a household with smaller dogs. With patience and the right introduction, he can gradually adjust to other pets, but a home with a calm, well-matched dog would be ideal for him.
