Montana is a handsome 7-month-old boy with an incredibly sweet and loving personality. I brought him home in August with the intention of being there full-time, but due to a recent career change that now requires frequent travel, I’m no longer able to give him the time and consistency he deserves. Montana has received professional training and is very obedient, eager to please, and playful in all the right ways. He is fully house trained, does well with routine, and has wonderful manners for his age. He is great with children, gets along well with other dogs, and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes him an easy companion. He is not neutered and will come with all of his papers. Montana is past the early puppy stage but still young enough to bond deeply with his new family and continue learning. This is a heartbreaking decision, and my priority is finding Montana a loving home where he will receive the attention, stability, and care he deserves. He would be an excellent addition to a family or individual looking for a well-trained, loyal, and genuinely sweet dog.

He's a very strong and athletic friendly dog with a protective side. He loves to play fetch, He's very muscular and in very good shape. He is perfect markings, big white strong teeth and is really a handsome boy. His appearance alone would dissuade would be burglars. He loves affection is very curious, super loyal and because he's a pack animal he wants to be involved with everything you do. I have 3 Airbnbs which our pet restrictive so it's difficult to have him after telling guests they couldn't bring their dog. We live in the Adirondack mountains and before he was a year old he ran off a full-grown bear that had broke into a tent. So he's serious when he needs to be but he's also a great companion. I am taking a job out of steak and will not be able to provide the time and care he needs it would not be fair to him. Looking for a home with potentially a retired law enforcemen, military for business owner in need of a protective companion.
