Grizzly
English Labrador Retriever
Grizzly is 1 year old white Labrador pure breed with all of his vaccinations and microchipped. He is in wonderful health, he has grade A hips, AKC papers, and his parents were show dogs. He is recovering from surgery to remove some of his dog rope he hate from his belly as he had a blockage, we are seeing him through recovery and will be comfortable rehoming him after FEB 13. We are looking for a new home for him that fits his needs, so here’s some basic information. - great with kids - A huge lover boy/cuddler - Loves to play (favorite activity is swimming!) - He has been through dog boarding and training by a guy who trains police dogs so very reputable. We will give you all of the training videos that were sent. We do expect his new home to keep up with his training as we spent a lot of money. - He does still struggle with some things as he is a puppy. So you need to be able to handle his struggles properly and be prepared. I will not give him to a home that cannot handle his struggles. * he has major separation anxiety which is the root of these struggles. He jumps fences so he is kept on a lead outside, he does also dig and bark (not all the time) so he has a bark collar we can send you with. He also struggles with listening to commands on the first try. He listens really well with me but not as much with other people so you will have to teach him you’re in charge. If food, rags, burp rags, etc are left out he will eat them. We need you to be aware of this as we don’t want him to go through another surgery. So he needs to go to a household that doesn’t keep things like this lying around. Due to his habit of eating things he needs to be created when unsupervised. He has mastered the skill of escaping dog crates so we can send you with his dog crate. It is big so you will need a space for it, but it is the one his trainer recommended him and it’s indestructible. He would be an AMAZING farm dog. Not 100% set on selling him, need to ensure a good home. Rehoming fee $300 - Things to consider before messaging me you’re interested: do you have a yard? Are you willing to keep up with his training and are you okay handling his struggles? Do you work? (He would struggle with this) Will you give him lots of love and attention? After you have considered these, feel free to private message me. Serious buyers will be willing to call me; and that’s the only way I’m willing to sell him to you (you must complete kind of like an interview). This may seem over the top but I just care about him a lot and need to know he’s going to a good family.
