Spade - Male 2-Year-Old American PitBull Terrier for Adoption in Monmouth County, NJ

This handsome boy is Manny. He’s located in NJ. He is a pit bull mix & is about 4 years old. We rescued him in October after he spent two long years at a local Animal Shelter. We’ve done everything we could to give him a loving home, but sadly, it’s not a good fit and we want to ensure he finds a home where he can thrive. Manny is a sweet and loyal dog, especially with women. He can be very protective and on guard around men, which is part of why we need to find him a more suitable home. With me, he’s an absolute cuddle bug who loves playing fetch, going for walks, snacking, and just being close by. Because of his protective nature, he would do best in a female-only home preferably with no other animals or young children. Or if you’re able & willing to pursue behavior training, which unfortunately, isnt an option for us right now. He has so much love to give, and I know he would be the perfect companion for the right person. Manny is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, microchipped, and has no health issues. He is neutered & is house-trained. I have all of his medical records available to share. We did reach out to the shelter to see if they could take him back, but we were told that if he returned, he would likely be euthanized due to his protective behaviors with men (i shared with them that he was aggressive & lunged at a male family member). We also reached out to several local rescues who were also unable to take him.We are absolutely heartbroken by this and are desperate to find him a safe and loving home where he can be himself. Barkley is a very loving dog with people. He enjoys attention, affection, and being close to his humans. He loves to cuddle, sleep close, and be part of the family. Barkley is extremely loyal and protective — once he bonds with you, he will always stay by your side. However, he does not get along with other animals at all. This is not something that can be tested or tried. He must go to a home where he will be the only pet. Barkley is house-trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He has been well taken care of and trained to live indoors. We want to be completely honest to ensure everyone’s safety and his well-being. Barkley is loyal, affectionate, and full of love, but he needs a calm and secure home with someone who can give him all the attention he deserves. We are also happy to donate all of his belongings — bed, toys, food, and supplies — to help with his transition to a new home. Piper is a good natured dog. She's very vocal and she loves to play. She loves attention. Due to unforseen circumstances Im no longer able to care for her. I would love to see her go to a family with a yard she can run in.

Miller is a high energy dog, he loves to exercise and loves pkaying woth chewy toys. He is very goofy and loves attention from his mana. He likes to cuddle and is potty trained and knows basic commands .
