"Rocky is a calm, strong, and highly athletic American Labrador Retriever mix whose mother is a purebred Labrador Retriever and whose father is a Goldador; both parents are healthy with no joint diseases in the family history, and Rocky himself is healthy and fully up to date on all his vaccines. He is very gentle and wonderful with kids of all ages, including small children, and he lives happily with two cats that he gets along with perfectly and loves to play with. Extremely smart, loyal, and responsive, Rocky understands commands in two languages and is fully off-leash trained so he does not run after wild animals. He thrives on activity and outdoor adventures: he loves swimming, hiking, camping, playing catch and frisbee, tug-of-war, and running right beside me when I bike or skateboard, and he almost always carries his favorite ball or toy on walks. He is trained in retracing tracks and scent work for either food or animals, and he especially enjoys the snow for sledding and hiking. Rocky also loves scratches and rubs and has a soft coat that is just a little longer than a traditional Labrador’s—not super long, simply perfect. Overall he is an exceptionally well-balanced, gentle, and capable dog that I am very happy with."
