About Kai

I am seeking a new home for my cherished dog, Kai. She is an endearing mix of border collie and Labrador, and this decision has been incredibly difficult for me. It in no way reflects her wonderful personality; rather, it stems from some personal challenges I've been facing that prevent me from giving her the love and attention she truly deserves. Kai is a vibrant dog with an adventurous spirit. She thrives during our walks, where she loves to explore, often enjoying the freedom of running off-leash in safe, open areas. However, her excitement can sometimes get the best of her when she encounters other dogs, which occasionally affects her recall. While she generally responds positively to commands, those exuberant moments can make her momentarily forgetful. In terms of house training, Kai is mostly dependable. However, due to her somewhat anxious nature, there are times when she may have an accident indoors. I adopted her from a couple who initially described her as a bit shy. As she has grown, her anxiety has become more noticeable, and despite my attempts to help her feel more comfortable and secure, I haven’t been able to find a lasting solution. Kai is a truly affectionate and loyal companion, always eager to be by your side and share moments of joy. I am searching for a new home for her—a place where she can flourish and receive the love and care she craves. She will come with some of her belongings, including her favorite toys and a supply of food. It’s important to note that she does best on a dry food diet, as wet food tends to upset her stomach.
