Pekas is an energetic dog who is always on the move! Whether it’s chasing toys, zooming through the yard, or showing off their playful personality. But don’t let the fun-loving side fool you, Pekas is also a loyal protector. Always alert, she isn’t shy about barking at strangers or unfamiliar dogs to keep their home and humans safe. Chief

Chief

Border Collie

male
|5 years, 4 months
San Luis Obispo County, California, US

Chief is a fun, goofy, and affectionate dog. He loves walks and being outside. He was born as a stray "boonie dog" on the island of Guam and was adopted when he was about 1 year old. Because of his history, he has some anxiety around new places and people and should not be placed in a home where there are young children. He generally gets along well with other dogs after an initial introduction. Chief would do well in a home where he can receive lots of love and affection. He is house and crate trained and does fine in the home for longer periods of time if he can get a good walk and snuggles at the end of the day. The reason for rehoming is that he does not do well around children.

Border Collie

female

Dallas County, Texas, US

Found her probably a month ago and she never left our front yard for the first two nights. My father literally watched someone drop her outside of their car in front of our home and drive off. She never barks unless she wants to go out of the backyard and is NEVER aggressive. Not a single time has she been anything but happy. She knows to sit inside her house when being fed and behaves pretty well. Has a habit of jumping up on us but that’s just out of excitement. Kokos about 5/6 months old now and I’m moving into an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs and my family aren’t fond of pets at all so I’m hoping this well behaved little lady can find a home that wants all of her love!
