American Staffordshire Terrier

Oliver is a sweet and playful American Staffordshire Terrier, born right here in Florida. I’ve had him since he was about 5 weeks old, and in that time he’s shown just how full of love, curiosity, and energy he really is. Now, he’s ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. At heart, Oliver is a puppy with a zest for life—he’s always exploring, learning, and looking for fun. He loves people and is especially happy when he has a playmate. That’s why I’d love for him to go to a home with another dog, though it’s not a dealbreaker. What matters most is that his new family is ready and prepared to give him the time, care, and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are ready to welcome a playful pup into your life, Oliver may just be your perfect match. Please reach out if you think you could be the right fit or would like to meet him!

My dog is a fun, playful 4-year-old with lots of energy. She loves to run around, play with toys, and be active, so he’d do best with someone who enjoys walks, playtime, or has a yard for her to burn off energy. She’s still young at heart and very loving the kind of dog that will keep you smiling and moving. He’ll thrive in a home that can give him attention, exercise, and play.

Ivy Sage

American Staffordshire Terrier

female
|2 years, 3 months
Harris County, Texas, US

Ivy Sage is a beautiful, 45lb, 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I rescued her about a year and a half ago, hoping to give her a better life—and in many ways, we’ve made beautiful progress together. She’s smart, sweet, full of energy, and knows basic commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and “paw.” She loves praise, belly rubs, and learning new things—especially when treats are involved. But Ivy has also come with emotional wounds and behavioral challenges that I wasn’t fully prepared for. She’s reactive toward other dogs, and despite every effort, she hasn’t been able to get along with the dog I’ve had for years. It’s caused stress in our home, and it breaks my heart that I haven’t been able to give her the peace, consistency, and calm she truly needs to heal and thrive. She’s incredibly loving but needs a very specific kind of home: one where she’s the only pet, with someone who has experience working with reactive dogs, who understands her past doesn’t define her future, and who can offer her the kind of attention and structure she’s been missing. This decision has taken a toll on me emotionally. I didn’t rescue Ivy just to give up on her—I’m making this choice because I love her, and because I know she deserves more than I can give right now. She’s not a bad dog—she’s just a misunderstood one who needs the right match to help her continue growing into the amazing companion I know she can be. If you or someone you trust can offer Ivy a safe, stable, and one-dog home where she’ll be loved, supported, and truly seen—please reach out. She’s been through a lot, but she still believes in people. I want her next chapter to be the one where she finally gets to feel peace, safety, and unconditional love. Please help me find Ivy the forever home she’s been waiting for.
