Gunner is an almost 2½-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix with an exceptional blend of athleticism, intelligence, loyalty, and heart. He has a sweet, loving personality and a quirky side that keeps us laughing all the time. He is playful and fun, but also has a natural calmness and balance that makes him easy to be around. He is not overly obsessive or high-strung, which gives him a wonderful mix of drive and steadiness. Gunner is incredibly smart, inquisitive, and deeply loyal to his people. He loves being with you no matter the activity, whether that means hiking, swimming, running, or simply spending time together. He is extremely athletic, very fast, and excels in active environments, with traits that would lend themselves well to agility, outdoor adventure, and working-dog tasks. He also has strong protective instincts and many of the qualities you would want in both a dependable companion and a capable working dog. He is selective in a thoughtful, honest way—he does not automatically love everyone, and while he connects strongly with some people and dogs, others he simply does not acknowledge. That discernment, paired with his loyalty and intelligence, is part of what makes his personality so special. I believe Gunner would pair especially well with a Golden Retriever, and that combination could produce puppies with an outstanding mix of intelligence, athleticism, loyalty, sweetness, and versatility—traits that would make for either an excellent working dog or an exceptional companion.

A silly guy. His personality really shines out. Smart as heck, recall is perfect, potty training perfect, never had any issues with this guy a day in his life.

Bear is such a handsome boy. Pure bleed of Aussie. He has good temper, no bark, friendly to kids, dogs and other animals.
