River
Doberman
River is a very sociable Doberman who loves people and other dogs, of all sizes for both. He doesn't mind spooning with our 3 daughters. However, he is not sociable if he doesn't know you and if we are not with him to indicate that you are a friend. He is very intelligent and easy to train. He is strong, agile and extremely fast. Some of his siblings are service dogs and participate in agility competitions. River is an obvious European Doberman weighing 114 lbs with a broad chest and head, blockier muzzle, thick neck and muscular frame. He has an exceptionally beautiful shiny, thick coat. We cropped his ears, but we weren't diligent with our reposting so only one stands when alert. However, his siblings have ears that stand. River is the great grandson of the 1st Dobie we bred ("rainbow" litter of 11 puppies - red, blue, fawn and black) and the 4th one we have owned from his bloodline. The oldest one we owned lived 13 long years and the second oldest lived 12 years. Needless to say we are familiar and in love with his bloodline.
