Pedro - American Staffordshire Terrier | Petmeetly

Pedro

American Staffordshire Terrier × Boxer

male
|2 years, 4 months
Humboldt County, California, US

Pedro is a gentle, intelligent, and athletic dog. He is a federally certified service dog, well-trained and very motivated to please his handler. He is very sweet and soft-hearted. He loves children and is the ultimate "childproof dog" with seemingly endless patience and gentleness, even when being manhandled. He is great with other dogs and loves to play. He is highly intelligent and easy to train. He has never shown aggression of any kind, even around food, yet he is very protective of female handlers and children, using himself as a barrier between them and perceived threats. A DNA test revealed 19 breeds (he is a gteat american mutthound) but a perfectly clear bill of health with zero detectable genetic susceptibility to disease. He is very athletic, easily running for miles, swimming, and jumping (up to 8 feet in the air from a standstill!). As a service dog, he regularly walks upwards of 5 miles a day with his handler Pedro is a great dog. He is a great family dog and I'm sure his pups would be too. No stud fee, we ask for pick of the litter.
