About Fin

I love my dog more than words can express. He is not just a pet, but a huge part of my heart, and this decision has been incredibly difficult. He is a true sweetheart who loves to cuddle and constantly seeks affection. He is always thirsty and needs continuous access to water, along with close supervision to prevent accidents and make sure he is safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule and being gone for long hours, I am unable to provide the level of attention and care he truly needs. This choice does not come from a lack of love, but from loving him enough to want better for him. I want to find him a home where someone can give him more time, patience, and affection — a place where his needs are fully met and he can receive the love he deserves every day. Letting him go is heartbreaking, but it comes from a place of deep love and wanting the best for him.

Vigga

Chihuahua × Schipperke

female
|1 year, 2 months
Alachua County, Florida, US

Vigga is a very beautiful sweet small dog. All she wants is to cuddle and explore. She can be skittish but will improve once she feels safe. When she meets a new dog her inclination is to try to dominate so introductions have to be done carefully but after some time passes she becomes good friends and companions with other dogs. She barks, a white noise machine has been very helpful in keeping the barking to a minimum. She has tested negative for heartworm and is taking TriHeart Plus as well as Simperica for flea and tick prevention. She is very sweet and calm with our 10 month old baby. She is great with people in general unless they are at the door but once they come in she is sweet. She likes raspberries and blueberries and sweet potato, it’s very cute.

Parker is very calm. Loves to play and go on runs/walks. Doesn’t bark at other dogs. Great with kids that are a little older 8 and older. Does have a resource guarding issue only with food and only with other dogs not people. He is an amazing boy who is lazy but will be active when you want him to. Perfect car ride buddy!

Bonnie & Clyde

American PitBull Terrier

female
|4 years, 6 months
Monroe County, New York, US

Meet Bonnie and Clyde, two pitbull mixes! They are bonded so they absolutely cannot be separated. I never knew dogs could love each other so much! They don't even like being in different rooms. Bonnie is 3ish and around 55 lbs. She is smaller than the average pitty. She has such a sweet personality. She wants all of the attention. She is known for bumping him out of the way so that you will pet her instead. He just let's her do whatever she wants. She loves to cuddle. She has had puppies in her past before we adopted her. Clyde is 5ish years old and 65 lbs. He is short and stocky. He also loves to cuddle. Someone cropped his ears when he was young, but luckily he doesn't mind them being touched. His bottom jaw is shorter than the top, so his tongue hangs a lot. He's pretty laid back and will just go with the flow. We are rehoming our fur babies because we just aren't the right fit for each them. My house is very quiet, so they are bored. They need a much more active lifestyle with a big backyard to play in. They run zoomies around the house and they play with each other a lot, but they need more. They are petrified of our cats. We thought they would get better in time, but no such luck. They have separation anxiety, both from us and each other. They need a home where they won't be left home alone a lot. They might chew your items while you're gone because of anxiety. We don't crate them. We are unsure how they would react if you did. I call them my little ducklings because they follow me everywhere I go. If they can't be with us they cry. We are their WHOLE world and you will be as well. They need to be the only pets in your house. We have kept our cats separate with baby gates, but every time they see them, Bonnie shakes and Clyde cries. They have tried to chase them before, so it's just best for them to be the only pets. They bark at other dogs, but we are unaware of how they would react if they came into contact with another dog. They do act like they want to play, but like I said, we don't know for sure. We also don't know how they are with children since we don't have any. Overall, they are really great, loving dogs. We love them so much, but we just aren't the right fit for them. They will come with their toys and remaining food. Pros: Very lovey and cuddly. Lots of kisses and waggy tails. They know "sit" "stay" and "no". They are spayed, neutered, and chipped. Both are house broken. They love people. They're great in the car. Not food or toy aggressive. They don't beg at the dinner table. They're both in good health. Happy dogs! Cons: Separation anxiety. Can't live with other pets.
