Brownie & Smokie - Male 6-Year-Old Doberman for Adoption in Riverside County, CA

"We are looking for a forever home for our 5 year old doberman. Due to my health conditions and being in and out of hospital regularly i am unable to keep her. Its been a heartbreaking decision but best for her. She needs a home where she is the only dog and preferably child free. (She has grown up with children age 10 and above) She does have issues and would needs an experienced owner. Who has had a doberman or large breed dog before. She is reactive when on walks, she will bark when she sees other dogs but it fine when off lead and playing. We tend to walk her late at night or early in the mornings. She has never bitten or attacked anyone. She needs someone who can continue the work we have put into her on her reactive behaviour. She is reactive our of fear and needs someone calm who can work with her. She is very misunderstood and is all bark when meeting new people. Regardless of her issues, She is loving and loves to cuddle up with you. She is raw fed and can eat anything but chicken. She has no food aggression and loves her treats. She will sit and wait for her food until you give her the command to eat. She knows all of her commands, sit, stay, wait, down, laydown, paw, leave, come, ball, toys, bed etc She us able to be left alone for periods of time. She needs a secure garden. She is up to date with vaccinations and kennel cough and also health tested clear of all doberman related diseases. Choco is a loving and cuddly girl good with kids, babies and other animals. She loves attention and pets. She enjoys walks and playing at the dog park. Her favorite snack is rawhide bone from Costco.

She is a wild spirit that is full of love. She wants to be near you at all times. I really definition of Velcro. She will goto the door when needing to potty. She has been around cats, larger and smaller dogs. Younger and older children. She knows to sit, wait, lay and twirl in a circle. She is very smart and food driven.
