"Whiskey is a loyal, and emotionally intelligent individual. He falls on the larger end of emotional intelligence and empathy scale, being more aware of both humans and dogs around him emotion then most companions his high levels of empathy dictate his behavior, and how he interacts with both humans and animals. He is playful, loving, protective, and loyal to his most loved ones and strangers alike (both and humans). Growing up as a puppy in San Antonio in between the pearl and the art district. He loves attention people, other animals and adventures. If you’re looking for a more dominant and aggressive dog personality, whiskey may not be what you’re looking for as he’s out here for cuddles, companionship, and most importantly attention. Whiskey is protective of those he loves and those he feels needing protection but handles protecting in a kill them with kindness or distraction way to ensure all situations are happy and safe without ever having to use actual aggression. His biggest flaws include being confused when humans don’t gush over how cute he is. As well as being a bossy boy, claiming on established authority over bedtime when he feels it’s time to go to bed. Anything after 1:30 am and he feels completely entitled to boss you around and tell you it’s bedtime. I’m sure most descriptions are boastful like this, so the best way to ensure that my description matches with his personality is to meet him. I haven’t met an individual that hasn’t tried to buy him or his puppies off of me (which is quite funny because he’s never had puppies before but we already have a wait list.) as my first docking companion ever I didn’t really know what to expect. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, but our connection was undeniable and even after days of waiting to ensure that a furry friend was the responsible choice I couldn’t deny the love we had for each other immediately. We have a full lineage of his family history, DNA test, medical history, pedigree, certifications, certificates of purchase, etc. I have him listed as a full dachshund however, his mom was a mini and his dad was a full, but I knew by his masses of paw as a puppy he was going to be on the bigger end of a mini if not more like a full size. just under 15 pounds and half long-haired dachshund half short hair his fur is the perfect combination of long enough to be cute but not too long that it’s a hassle. In my opinion :-). As an owner, I’ve never bred any of my puppies, and I didn’t plan on it, however, due to the request to have one of his puppies and his kind, loving and tame temperament, I feel it would be an injustice to not at least give people the opportunity to meet with him to see if He’s a good match for someone’s sweet girl. The right fit could bring so much love and joy into peoples lives and hearts."

Bosco

Dachshund × Chihuahua

male
|6 years, 2 months
Fort Bend County, Texas, US

He dislikes male dogs and is nervous around them, but he loves to flirt with the ladies. He has a kitty sister that he adores and plays with. He’s eager to get “physical” with female dogs and never shows aggression towards them. Once he gets to know people, he loves them and prefers calm and gentle children who give him space to get to know them.
