Opal has such a big personality wrapped up in a cute, little package! She has a spunky nature and does this fun little hop, hop and pounce when she is playing with toys or her litter mates. She does play well alone, but she will often try to wake up her litter mates to get them to come play with her. She loves our adult dogs and enjoys following them around and getting them to play with her. She isn't fazed by new situations or people and is so excited to say hi! This pup is the ultimate water lover of the litter! If water exposure continues she could be a partner for swimming in your pool or at the lake. With all her energy, she would make a wonderful hiking or traveling companion. We started beginning crate training at 7 weeks and Opal is doing super! She will find a toy and settle down in the crate to play with it. She will alert when she needs to go out as well. We have introduced several different textures for walking on - fur, carpet, laminate, tile, concrete, grass, rocks, dirt and items that move when stepped on. We are currently doing socialization and desensitization exercises to help our puppies be ready for life in your home. Some of the activities they are experiencing include car rides, music playing, blender, vacuum, noisy dishes, closing doors and gates, TV, fan, play time with lots of new people, and play time with our adult dogs. Meet Slate! He has a beautiful wavy merle coat! Silver with mainly black spots and touches of white. His markings are stunning.
