Literally the greatest dog you could ever meet. Waffles is 95% Bernese and 5% Golden Retriever according to Embark Vet. He does not bark unless playing outdoors with another dog. He was carried up and down stairs for most of his early stages to protect his joints, and gets 3 walks every day (more when he was younger). He has very animated eyes and ears, and has perfect Berner markings, complete with the “Swiss Kiss” on top of his head. Most photos are from the past month, otherwise the past year (other than the 2 photos from when we first became a family).

Bear is very timid yet wants to be adventurous, lazy but energetic. He’s an 80lb lap dog who loves to snuggle up and be around people. Any strangers he doesn’t know he sounds like an attack dog, but would only lick you to death.
