Meet Baxter – A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm Home Baxter is an 8-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to find his perfect match. He’s a quiet, gentle boy who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch, enjoying a cozy movie night, and being near his people. He does best in a calm home without other dogs—he’s not dangerous but can be dog aggressive, he prefers to be the only pup. He gets along well with cats and would be happiest with a single person, a couple, or someone older who appreciates a laid-back companion. Baxter is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly loving. He does have some anxiety during thunderstorms, but sitting with him and offering a few treats helps ease his nerves. She’s affectionate and loves receiving affection. She’s not hyper just mostly stays relaxed but she does love her walks. Has previously lived with a foster kitten and did well while supervised. Patchy enjoys being around children and does well with them. No health issues No behavioral issues but needs to be fed and given treats (and likely high value items) separated from other dogs. *This should be the case always in a multi-dog household.* Guardian is currently staying in Brentwood, MD but can assist with transportation or help coordinate a meeting for prospective adopters even outside of this local area. SUPER SWEET GSP. BUCKEE LIVED WITH OUR SON AND FAMILY AND THEY JUST HAD A BABY. AS MUCH AS THEY LOVE HIM THEY DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DEVOTE TO HIM.
