He is also highly intelligent and eager to please, making him very easy to train. He learns quickly, has excellent manners, and loves spending time with his family. His loving nature, stable temperament, and trainability are qualities we value and hope to pass on to his puppies. When selecting a mating partner for Captain, we are looking for a female with a similarly gentle and stable temperament and strong health clearances. It is important that she is well socialized, confident, and shares his affectionate, family oriented nature.
