Scout love to play and run loose. He is very nervous around groups of people. At first he was afraid of everyone but has started accepting people individually, and evening being very happy to meet them. I believe with more exposure he will learn to be comfortable around larger groups. We are a family of 7 that travels fulltime. Scout has not enjoyed the frequent travel, constant exposure to new people, or flashlights, which are common for us. Yes, he is afraid of flashlights. He has never been reactive. His response is to hide. He would adore a family with other dogs. I would not recommend him for babies as he still has many puppy tendencies. He is house trained but we recommend a crate when you are out. He gets nervous if left outside of the crate and will chew on things. He otherwise does not have this habit and is always behaved in the crate. We use a camera to watch him while gone. Scout has had his vaccines, including influenza, which will be due for a booster in a few weeks as he just received it today. He has been on a great diet his entire life and sheds minimally for a husky. He goes through spells where he needs a good brushing but it isn’t constant. He will come with all his food, vitamins, grooming supplies, utility vest for hiking, leashes, face harness (for walks) bowls, and a e-collar, his crate and all his toys. Basically, if we use it for him, he comes with it. ALL of his items will come with him. We have no other dogs to use any of it for. Our other dog is a yorkie and needs different things. We have no intentions of getting another dog while on the road because this is hard enough. Scout is very loving and playful and full of that husky personality. He loves to talk!
