About Sativa
She is really playful, she is hyperactive. She has long claws because she won't let us cut her nails. She likes to jump up on people and be excited.
From the owner of Sativa

Is the pet spayed/neutered?

Yes

Does the pet have any known health issues?

No, but her energy levels are better when she gets nutritional wet food on a daily basis

Pet's current living environment

A household of a couple, with 2 cats. She only has a 25 foot tether for now, but she used to have a big fenced in yard. We live in a house with almost 3/4 an acre. She needs a household with an active lifestyle, we are not able to provide that at the moment.

Type of food and how much exercise does it get daily?

She gets nutritional wet food for breakfast and 2 cups of dry food throughout the day. She needs someone who can take her on daily walks and a dog park, or something similar now and then.

Included with Sale/Adoption

Bucket with dry food, LOTS of toys, harness with tether, leash with collar, big crate in case she needs to be introduced to other animals and you feel she needs to be separated at first, blanket, nail trimming tools set (this is an in depth set, since she hates her nails being touched and we've found that having her off the ground and muzzled is easiest and safest, but the vets have a better time doing it than we can) and gravity feeder.

Willing to meet the buyer/adopter halfway

Yes

Why rehoming the pet

She's a very energetic and protective dog, and we just aren't able to meet her energetic needs with the jobs we have. She also has a tendency to get out and explore the neighborhood, and we feel that's due to her active needs and explorative behavior, and sometimes aren't able to retrieve her. We feel this wouldn't be an issue if she had access to the ability to run off all her energy in a safe environment, since it didn't use to be an issue when she had a fence.
