Unfortunately we have to rehome our boy Rusty. Please read in full. Rusty is 3 years old August 13th. registered dachshund. I would like for him to be neutered and kept as a pet. Better as an only dog or closely monitored. I haven't had an issue until recently when he randomly started becoming toy possessive & attacking my female over toys, she was trying to play with him. He actually loves playing with his house mates, so other dogs in the house isn't a definite no go, but he can't be unsupervised with them. In addition he's potty trained, however being unneutered, he marks. I work a lot and he will urinate outside of the crate (wire crate) I believe in protest. Rusty has plenty of energy but he also would love to be a lap dog and cuddle up on the couch with you. He loves belly rubs & treats. He walks really well on a leash. Looking for breed experienced, has the time to dedicate to him, take on walks, play etc. Retired or business owner.
