My name is Ronan. I'm a male Siberian Husky born on August 20, 2020. I weigh 75 lbs and have been neutered. My current humans say I have a sweet, loving disposition although I'm known to be a bit dramatic, as us Huskies often are. I'm quieter than most of my breed but do enjoy howling at sirens – it's my own little concert! I'm not a big talker otherwise. I absolutely love running and playing, and I'm a regular at doggy daycare where I get to hang out with all my furry friends. I'm a fan favorite there! Belly rubs, treats, and my Kong toy are some of my favorite things in the world. At home, I sleep in a crate with the door open and I'm crate trained, but my humans don't use it often and never for more than two hours at a time. I know my basic commands, but being a Husky, I like to follow them when it suits me. I currently live on three acres of land, so I have plenty of room to roam and explore. Morning walks are a highlight of my day. I'm looking for a new home where I can be a top priority. I need a human who will take me on adventures or even go running with me. I haven't been around small children, so a home without them would be best. I also can't live with cats or other small animals. I might enjoy having a companion, preferably a female dog, another Husky would be even better. I can be a shy boy, so I need a patient human who will take the time to get to know me. My current family loves me very much, but their situation has changed. They now have elderly family members who need their help, so they're not at home as much as they used to be. Additionally, my furry sibling has crossed the rainbow bridge. I know they want me to have more attention and companionship than they can currently provide, and it breaks their hearts to give me up, but they feel it is for the best. I've had a good life here, but I'm ready for my best life with a new family who can give me all the love and adventures I crave.
