About Herby
Herby is an absolutely spectacularly amazing dog. I know I may be a bit biased! Haha, but truly from the very beginning he has been amazing in every aspect. He is from a reputable breeder with full genetic testing of both parents for thinks such as genetic issues that could be inherited. His parents have papers and there is a known history to his bloodline. He is a very healthy young dachshund. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks. He lives in a household of 3. Myself, my husband, and our ten year old son. Our neighbors are my in laws and they own 2 dogs and a cat, as well as some farm animals. Herby loves every one of them. He is my emotional support animal and many of his siblings are also either service animals or emotional support dogs. He goes with me everywhere and is so very well behaved. Many people don’t even realize he is with me until they see him. He’s amazing with children and other animals, he is cautious at first and once he sees you are a friend he is happy to receive pets. He’s of course potty trained and very well trained in his commands and everything. So many people are shocked to find out my ESD (actual doctor referred) is actually a dachshund! They joke that they are too stubborn and are surprised how well behaved my boy is when they see him. To be completely honest, I don’t even care about something like a “stud” Fee, which is why I put a random low number. My boy is genetically tested, registered, I have permission from my reputable breeder to breed him and continue his bloodline, he is an amazingly healthy, social, well tempered dachshund that I truly believe would add very good genetics to the future bloodline of dachshunds. I’m happy to provide any documentation and answer any and all questions anyone may have. We just want to find a reputable breeder who will be happy to take the right precautions to ensure the healthiest litter possible! We would even be willing to help provide for some of the vet fees or anything like that!
