About Charlie

Charlie is a ball of joy. He’s goofy and derpy when you need him to be. Low energy and calm when you are resting. He has an incredible ability to or only read your emotional state but goes a step further to provide the appropriate companionship that you need moment to moment. He literally smiles. He loves to tap his front paws on the hardwood floor to make it know through the clicks of his nails that he is over the moon excited that you are with him. Training Charlie was a breeze. He has the ability to always be learning and adapting. It sounds ridiculous, but I can’t think of a single time he has broken the rules. He is a wonderful balance of high and low energy. He is a Covid puppy so he does have minor separation anxiety but only if he knows you are near by, in the other room or there is some barrier that does not allow him to reach you. He loves hiking, camping, running long side you on a bike ride, fetch, tug of war, keep away, dancing with you to music and wrestling. He doesn’t like hide and seek because he doesn’t like being surprised or startled. He hates fire alarms. In general he prefers small to medium sized dogs socially and/or big dogs don’t prefer him socially. The reason for this is somewhat a mystery. All in all he is the best dog I have ever owned and is a sweetheart to the core. He was the runt of his litter but chosen first. He’s 2 feet tall, 60 lbs, extremely flexible, athletic and agile. He has never had a serious injury or illness. His sire / dad was a champion show dog.
