Bear is an inside dog who loves our large fenced yard to romp in with other dogs or grandkids. He sleeps in our laundry room, loves to cuddle, and say the word hike/walk and he is all in. He loves his treats. He does need some training to walk on a leash. He is very smart, and fully house trained.

Type of food and how much exercise does it get daily?

We give him dry dog food by Pedigree; Bacon treats or peanut butter is his favorite but he pretty much will eat whatever is given even carrots. Bear gets exercise every day, a walk or playing in the yard.

We can provide his harness/leash. He loves any toys and sticks in the yard are his favorite outside toy.

Why rehoming the pet

We are grandparents and share a home with our daughter and 2 grandchildren and our dogs Fritz and Bear. We travel alot, our daughter works long hours as a new nurse and the grandkids are busy with sports. We love Bear but it is very hard for as grandparents to care for two dogs. Fritz, was delivered by Santa right before COVID and Bear adopted by our grandson as a puppy this February [-]. The grandkids love Bear but don’t have the time to spend with Bear that he needs.
