Bear loves people but he isn't trained well. He should be the only pet in the house. As he will go after them. Unless you are confident as a pet owner and trainer in handling that situation. The person that takes him in has to be experienced. He would probably be best with just being the only animal in the home. I wouldn't say he's not good with kids but he has never been around them. He was my friend's dog and then she abandoned him to me. It's taking me a long time to even try and find a home for him because he does not do well with other animals at all. I believe he was used as a bait dog where other dogs would attack him. So I've kept him in the house. He's not trained well, he has accidents and it was nearly impossible for me to get him on a leash. All in all he is a very loving dog, he loves people no doubt. He listens sometimes to come and sit and sometimes he doesn't. He is older now and unfortunately I'm going through too much right now to even spend time with him like I used to do. With my hours at my job and my neighbors complaining about him being alone too long because of my hours I really can't keep him anymore. At this point I'm begging for someone to take him to a loving home where he can just spend the rest of his days happy and spoiled because I really can't give that to him.
