About Atlas
Atlas is a sweetheart and a cuddler! He's sweet, gentle, and playful. He is shy, but has such a fun spirit when he gets to know you! Took a little time to get used to our other dog (pit bull), but once acclimated, they got along fine! Unfortunately, I'm out of the house between work and school, and he doesn't have enough attention throughout the day. He has destroyed some of my things and has escaped when I've left him alone too long-- he needs more time than I have, although I love him... Atlas needs a new attentive home that has time and patience with this young man! He's had a rough past, we adopted him from a toxic environment... he's come a very long way and out of his shell, he's potty trained (although occasional marking of his territory), he understands basic commands. He is shy and a little skittish at times, but he's really a lover. Atlas is a good boy, he just needs a stimulating home better fit then mine.

Why rehoming the pet

As most huskies are, Atlas is an escape artist and easily bored. I’m at school or work most of the time and have to leave for longer periods, giving him time to figure out ways to escape or find something of mine to chew. He’s a good boy, he just needs more attention and a home with people that will be able to play and interact with him. It’s unfair of me to own such an energetic and free-spirited animal, and not be able to give him the freedom and attention he deserves.
