She is loving, sweet, and loves to snuggle. That said, she's also independent. Being a Hound, she loves to be outside during the day letting her nose take over. We adopted her at 9 months old, not knowing she really needed to live in the country. We are retired, living in a community. She has to be on a leash when outside here. We're not allowed fences. She has gotten very protective of me. She bit a neighbor, leaving a bruise. She (while on her leash)bit the mailman as he rushed up the driveway carrying 3 boxes, she did draw blood with a tooth mark. Our won't allow us to keep her. She needs a home where she can be loose outside and run during the day, along with a family to love and cuddle her. Everything we have for her will go with her; toys, blanket, food, vaccinations and Vet visits. Plott Hounds are a rare breed of hunting dog in North Carolina. She does NOT have that Hound dog bark! We love her so much but sadly have to give her up.
