About Buck
Hello everyone, this is Buck. He's fun, loving, energetic, kennel trained, potty trained, energetic, such a sweet heart, energetic... this pup is non stop energetic. He is 1 year old this November. We got him from an English creme retriever breeder when he was 12 weeks old. He has since grown to be 60 pounds and still is growing. Buck is AKC certified and registered with the AKC Kennel Club. He has all his shots to include rabies and flea tick and heartworm preventative. This guy loves to be on your lap. Next to you. Under you. Touching you in any way. He is socialized with well with other large breed dogs and also adults.
Now for the cons and the reason why we must redone him.
Not good with children. He lives our 5 and 7 year old children. But is very reactive and pummels them anytime they are together. Once they fall to the ground he proceeds to play with them and agitate the situation even worse. It's very stressful for my special needs son.
Buck us very energetic. I think I said that earlier... he needs to play numerous times a day where he can run full speed. No less then 10-15 times. He is not a let outside for a bit and he can burn some energy and be done for the day. You will need to let him burn his energy almlst every hour or he will get zoomies and also chew everything in your home.
Buck does very well in tge kennel. He sleeps 8 hours a night in another room and let's out a small bark when he's ready to go outside. He also will let you know when he's ready to come inside.
Buck does not distinguish adults from children and will pummel children. He will try to pummel adults. Sometimes he is successful. He is very reactive and tries to play at every encounter. This leads to jumping. Body slamming. Locking. Playful biting.
With training I believe most of his tendencies can be corrected but he will always be a very active pup. We unfortunately are unable to provide the training and energy needed to help develop him into a wonderful pup we know he can be. The removing fee will include 30 pounds of dog food, all his belongings, his AKC paperwork and transfer, and his Kennel.
Last notes, Buck has a microchip but we have never activated it. Once you take him to your vet they should be able to scan and tell you the brand and serial number. This can be used to coordinate registry. It is unknown how he will do with other pets. He's great with dogs at his dog day care but I'm unaware how he is within a home. Cate id assume would be a wild chase all the time. He is not neutered yet but is required to be neutered by his AKC membership. This will need to be done within the next 6 months. He has never had any illnesses and is perfectly healthy. Both parents were blood screened as well and came back with no genetic disorders or defects.
