About Beans

Beans is a 4 year old Great Dane, Anatolian Shepherd, and South African Mastiff mix. He is 140ish lbs. Beans had some behavioral issues; sprouting from a few dog attacks when he was about a year old and a possible lack of proper socialization on my part. Because of this, he doesn’t get along with other dogs at all- he will lunge and bark. He also can be very nervous around new people, specifically men. He is not as nervous around women but still needs time when it is a new person. He will bark and jump up, but has NEVER bitten anybody. With all that being said, he takes a bit to warm up, but once he does he is a very sweet boy. He is an extremely smart dog who is eager to please and a quick learner. He has basic obedience skills, is treat motivated and kennel trained. Beans would do best with a single individual or couple with no other pets or children and preferably someone who has experience with large dogs. Looking to rehome due to lifestyle changes along with a want for him to be in a home where he can get the love and time he deserves and needs. He is fully vaccinated and fixed and we will provide documentation for that. We will also provide his kennel and bed, food and treats, and his favorite toys.
